The Superb Fairywren, also known as the Superb Blue Wren, is a small bird native to Australia. These sociable birds forage for insects with energetic hops and flits. Both visually captivating and culturally significant, they are cherished for their melodious calls and presence in Australian folklore.

Special thanks to my good friend Pete Joy for allowing me to translate his captivating photography into this piece!

This picture was hanging at the local Whyalla Art Gallery but was recently sold. Currently on it’s way to NSW.
